Now head back left and start up the stairs. As you climb, watch the walls carefully. There are several points along the stairs where the familiar black tentacles will break free from the brick surface and try to harm you as you pass. You can wait for the tentacles to start to recede, then quickly dash through and resume your cautious trek up the stairs.(Above Left) The Blot breaks through some of the walls as you ascend and then crashes down on the stairwell, leaving in his wake only a memory of stairs that once existed.
(Above Right) Near the top of the area, look for some extra content suspended over the abyss to the right. You'll need to use a careful double jump in order to obtain it.After the first set of tentacles, you'll ascend only a short distance before the Blot tries to crash your party. He strikes down with a huge fist and breaks away a chunk of the floor. You can double jump over that gap and continue up the shaft, but be especially careful as you continue your ascent; bumping against tentacles will likely knock you back and probably cause you to fall into one of the gaps that the Blot has created as you continue climbing the tower and the process repeats. Your only real concern as you climb is avoiding those tentacles, though you will also need to paint in the occasional ledge as you continue climbing.Near the very top of the tower, you'll come to a point where there's a floating piece of extra content, Blot Attack I. You can jump out over the air and collect it, then jump again mid-air to return left to the ledge. Further up the shaft from there, you'll see a wide gap and a tentacle that appears right along the edge of the gap.
You can double jump out toward that portion of the staircase as the tentacle starts to recede, then keep climbing to navigate several more such gaps. When you reach the very top, there's another battle with the Blot. As you did during the previous such encounter, you'll need to paint in gargoyle heads (some won't be visible until you spin them to face you) and then turn the gargoyles so that they fire the resulting beams at the large crystal. There's an added complication this time around, though, in the form of some weak Blotling enemies. Spray them with paint to make them see things your way, then tend to the gargoyles. You should be able to repeat your previous performance rather easily and then you can head for the next projector screen. Make sure that you grab the Slobber Charge extra content from the room that houses that projector.
You'll have to jump onto some barrels, then double jump up from there to snag it.Finally, exit through the new projector screen that appears to attempt the game's final action stage.
